Google shared calendar not updating One on one live chat
Updated March 2017 with additional steps for un-syncing calendars. If you accepted an invitation from someone to share a Google calendar but aren't seeing it on your i Phone, i Pad, or Mac; it could be due to your Google Sync settings. We see occasional requests from customers experiencing problems with Google Calendar, usually Google calendar stops updating changes to their Timetastic calendar.Unfortunately resolution of this issue tends to be a waiting game: By way of some background, the way an ical feed works is that it is your calendar application (Google in this case) which periodically requests an update of the information from Timetastic i.e.Luckily it's also simple to fix — once you know how!It can take a few minutes for the calendars to appear. But there’s this remote possibility that Google/Gmail calendars are not synced to your i Phone’s calendar and that can be a big problem.
If you keep Outlook open, it also periodically checks for and downloads updates.
When you setup a Google account (and enable Calendar by default), your Gmail calendars should sync without a problem.
These days, the setup is so easy that it all happens automatically once you sign in with your Gmail/Google credentials.
I share a practice space calendar with about a dozen people, which takes up pretty much all the space on my calendar app.
Un-syncing it from Google's calendars makes my schedule look a lot less daunting.
